1/20scale Uruseiyatsura/Lum "Lightly skating"

F16106_0.JPG - 70,729BYTES

The original picture is from comic vol.16 p.106.
I finished in 20 days this work that I left in the state of making for 17 years. The reason of this long blank may be for her fluttering shawl that is trouble for making than swimming suit or the tiger bikini. But all that's no problem after the completion.
I modified fer face a little around her eyes from the status of 17 years ago. I think I could make her as the most nearly image with the original picture.
Her pose is just same as the original picture, but the angle of body is looser a little.
I heat-processed the surface of shawl and socks making each special bits. I expressed the touch of black tights by scrubbing a hair line bit shallowly the surface and crossing like stitch. I made the blades of skating shoes from a steel plate, and cut it and finished as a mirror by dry shaving using a finishing stone.
I coated with paint her skin and cloth by air brush, and the other part by face brush. I had a illusion to decide the color of her costume, because there is no color picture. I tried light green for hre one-piece, but finally I decided it orange color and kept a balance with the brown of shawl.
For the shooting, I used 2 sun light as usual, a 500W over the tracing paper as main, and a 250W from the front as spot. I used a back paper that is usual sky-blue gradation, but it's same color with her hair, so the separation has lacked. When the next shooting, I'll try to change the back paper.
