1/10 Yamada Mariya / 17th "Mariya is a fine girl"
I selected the composition from a photogravure. (She is a Japanese famous talent. )
I began to make this work with a opportunity just I want to make a real figure model. So I don't think that she is my ideal girl. Her character is fine as the title shows. This time I had her be a study....or practice model incidentally.
Although I started it early, I had several discontinuation until the completion, she became a work throughout 3 years. In short, this is her 3 years ago condition at least. Although recently her bust and body seems volume down, in those days she had such a body. For instance I designed her size T153, B87, W63, H88(cm). And the circumference of thigh is 57cm (This is presumption).
About the stance of molding, I aimed the style "direct cut down copy" with no arrangement. However, it is difficult to distinguish whom from the expression in the original shot itself, it was been the level which is hard to realize who it is at the first look. Since Mariya does not have much extreme feature, that make it more difficult. Temporarily I was satisfied it became a somewhat beautiful girl, I'll choose the item keeping the point for the next time.
I made her with plastic 100% (pla-stick) molding by heat-pen processing as usual. As the hard times, firstly was front hair, secondary was polka dots, 3rd and 4th was none, 5th was nail top of fingers. (How many times broken the nails are! )
Though her eyes were big just after completion, I converted them before contributing a magazine. I also modified the right and left balance of mouth, eyelash of right eye, and the nail top of fingers after the contribution.
